"I want to thank you again for the professional and compassionate service that you provided for Puppy. I can truly say that my dog passed away with dignity. The way that you handled him before, during and after the procedure was so respectful and the thoroughness of your information to me and Dave really put our minds at ease even though our hearts were breaking to have to say good-bye to him. It's still hard to think about Puppy or talk about him but I have had no problem telling folks how pleased I was with your services. I knew from the first conversation that we had that you were the person that I wanted assisting Puppy at the end of his life. We know we did the right thing and any doubts we had were removed by the outstanding service that you provided. The "Comfort" in your company could not be more fitting. The level of comfort that you provided to me, Dave and most importantly, Puppy was extraordinary. Thank you so much for everything".   ---  Debbie

In Home Pet Euthanasia - Lake Norman & Surrounding Areas of NC

Comfort At Home Mobile Pet Euthanasia is devoted to providing gentle end-of-life care for geriatric and terminally ill dogs and cats in the Lake Norman region of North Carolina.

Although we don't pretend to know what you are going through, we do see the sorrow and soul-searching of families who are facing the difficult decision of pet euthanasia. We all have a universal desire to "get it right" and make the best and kindest decision for our pet. No one wants to have a feeling of regret for waiting too late and we sure don't want to feel that we have made a premature decision either.

We offer kind and compassionate pet euthanasia services in the privacy and comfort of your home.
"Comfort at Home was absolutely wonderful. Dr. Tillman was very caring and thoughtful when assisting us with our dog Chanse. We needed help very quickly, and Dr. Tillman was able to provide that to us, with appropriate questions about our dog’s health and current well-being as part of his assessment, along with a personal exam in-home. His knowledgeable recommendations, instructions and information made us feel at ease and made the transition as smooth as possible in the familiar surroundings of our own home so our other pet could be there as well. It was such a relief not to have to try and put our very sick dog into a car and drive to a vet office and have to be amongst a crowd of people during a very private and painful time. Dr. Tillman’s services are absolutely invaluable, and thanks are not enough, his kindness was above and beyond what we could have anticipated. We recommend him very highly to anyone with an elderly pet who needs assistance with hospice, or EOL services."              ~ Alison & Chris

News on the Coronavirus Crisis:

Due to concern for the health and safety of our pet families and my own family with the spread of COVID19, I am unable to provide home pet euthanasia until at least April 6th, 2020 and possibly longer. While we are closed, I am modifying our medical and business procedures with veterinary and public health guidance to maximize safety and social distancing while providing the essential service of compassionate end-of-life care. My hope and prayer is that by following public health guidelines we will kindly care for our pets, protect at-risk loved ones and limit spread of disease until an effective vaccine can be developed.      ~  Dr. Keith Tillman
